Just played Ascension Day and a bit of WTD to fade out. Should be archived here later:

Lovely version of Ascension Day , it would be great if someone here could flip it over to youtube. Otherwise a pleasant telling of the usual tales.

Mention is made of Elvis's first U.S. show and I'm reminded of something prompted by the book. T Bone Burnett has said he was at that show, on a day off from touring with The Alpha Band. Elvis doesn't mention that when writing about first working, in 1984, with T Bone. It would , of course , be unlikely that Elvis would remember him from that '77 show but surely they must have talked about it. Maybe it would have made the narrative a bit more convoluted than it already is !
