Shocked at the news of the death of John Hughes-have always appreciated his deft touch with movies about youth and its travails-particularly enjoyed "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "Pretty in Pink", "16 Candles" and "Some Kind Of Wonderful"-he seemed to have a direct connection with how teens think and feel that was real and funny and sad all at once-had missed his active presence over the last decade or so-admire that you could just walk away on the top.
"....there's a merry song that starts in 'I' and ends in 'You', as many famous pop songs do....'
