It's a good little set this. If you can't be bothered with internet delivery times then Zavvi are knocking it out for a very reasonable £14 on the high street.
The Costello performance is excellent, really seems to be enjoying himself. Anyone got the other performances he did on the show to promote 'When I Was Cruel'?
I remember seeing him doing When I was Cruel on TV on the Meltdown festival. He also did Butcher Boy. Anyway, he seemed a bit harrassed doing WIWC, surrounded by effects boxes and I remember that it looked like he couldn't hear himself properly. He kept gesturing to the side of the stage. I haven't seen this footage since.
I think John Peel may have been the curator that year, at least he introduced the TV programme.
