Last ranking. Never thought I'd see the day...etc.
Ranking this was difficult because I do think all the songs are strong & the story is intriguing, but I don't enjoy the album as much as most of EC's other work when I listen to it from start to finish, especially the first Swedish version without She's Pulling Out The Pin. I guess I don't like the sequencing. It still grows on me, though; maybe it'll be a fave too someday.

(IMHO, My Mood Swings with added verse as played on the WIWC tour would have balanced the record better than The Judgement, especially if placed between The Name Of This Thing Is Not Love and Pear Shaped Bruce.)

This Is One of my favorites as well. It balances almost every musical influence of EC's including his own, this is why it's pretty hard to compare each song with one another.

Of course I'm not leaving your ranking out. What I'll do is calculate the mean/average ranking of SPOTP (I'd guess 9 or 10) and stick it in there on your list.
You should give it a listen, though, it's great. Just ask solack.
It seems that many of those who rank it low do it because it's a late addition for them and so doesn't feel like a part of the album rather than being a bad song. (Some did the same with Watching the Detectives as I recall.)

It's good he is still motivated to do so. TDM suggests to me he will come up with as good or even better realized records from now on. Probably especially after North.
