Yep the original 'Fever" was done by Peggy Lee. I think just about everything can be traced back to "an oldie" if you look hard enough......

Not quite true. The original is by Little Willie John (who also did the original Need Your Love So Bad). Peggy Lee adapted it and made it her signature tune.
