Dont let time cloud your judgement there was & still is only one EC masterpiece

Imperial Bedroom is up there with the all time great albums

not a bad track on the album

Man out of time is still his best ever songs.

As usual, if i could have voted, i would have voted for ATUB. I know there are a lot of people in this board who choose earlier albums because they grew up with them and there's nothing you can do to change that. I personally think that if you take the albums for what they are, later albums are better without a doubt. But one of the best things about music is how it affects us personally, and a lot of people here are very attached to earlier albums, which imo makes them even better. But it's a mock to culture how nobody has voted for Brutal Youth. I mean c'mon people!

He said every man's conscience is vile and depraved,
You cannot depend on it to be your guide
When it's you who must keep it satisfied

Brutal Youth is one of Elvis's most fun albums, but not his best IMHO.

The album flows perfectly all the way through, there isn't a wasted moment. Nick Lowe plays quite a part in it as well since he had to marshall the fairly fragile atmosphere here, the outtakes really are quite ragged. Still, the finished album is amazing and it's one opf Elvis finest moments.
Thanks for summing up my feelings (and my vote) perfectly.

I think all the early Attractions album were great in their own way.Get Happy is the best. The band were on top of their game aand probably the best band in the world at the time.IB is stunning as well.
