Dropping my keys in that elevator gap has always been something that makes me nervous...did everything work out okay, mug? Did the ordeal have anything to do with the sobriety experiment?

You know, now that you mention it... :D

I still haven't fished out the original keys, but mostly cuz I haven't had time. And I need a slightly longer piece of string. But I am determined! In any case, car keys and my 2 house keys are the only ones I need on a daily basis.

Good luck in getting them back!

I've got exams on Tuesday and Wednesday, and I'm very close to crapping myself. But it's cool.....maybe......ARGh!

If you wrote an autobiography, I think it will sell by the tankloads.

That's very nice of you to say, thanks. I think everyone has an interesting story by the time they reach my age, if not well before!

You could call it Human Touch.

But don't tell anyone about our date. I was (and am) a married man

I couldn't agree more Mike! How somebody such as Mrs VG agreed to go out with me in the first place (let alone marry me) is beyond my comprehension.

Otis, no we can't get even regular Fresca in the UK. The regular stuff is a tasty grapefruit soda make by coca-cola. If anybody knows of a place that sells this in England, please let me know.

No Fresca?! I'm so sorry!

The original is Grapefruit, which I've always loved, and now there are 2 new flavors, which seem to be the Grapefruit flavor with 1. black cherry or 2 peach added. Haven't had the peach yet. Since I'm off my beloved beer and margaritas for the summer at least, this is a godsend...

Mrs. Sam loves the stuff - one time she went nuts when they had 2-liters on sale for $.88 and bought about a dozen bottles of Fresca. I had a closet full of the stuff for months.

Decent drinks mixer too - sort of a gin & tonic alternative.
