The more people that come, the less CDs for the rest of us!

All sounds very congenial - going to try if I can square with family stuff that day. Fingers crossed.

And what's the dress code...?!

Hope you can make it. The dress code is black tie. That way we know who is one of us! This doesn't always work as we once went over to a group of people who were about to go to the theatre next door   Still, none of them pressed charges.

With Elvis' 2013 tour dates announced the first 2 discussions will be about the 2012 tour and the next 2 hours will be about the 2013 tour.

The rest of the evening will be the usual lust and debauchery.

Bring it on! Anyone else gonna come out of the woodwork and join us for a bevvy of beauty?

We love Elvis as much as you, so you can talk about him as much as you like without feeling guilty! Any London fans wanna join us? I have a beard and am quite tall. I'm not sure what colour carnation I'll be wearing, but you'll be able to spot us, anyway, cos we'll be talking about Elvis!

A cracking time was had by all. Me, Verbal, MOOT, SoLack, Neil & Sulky brainstormed for c.3 hours over the recent tour, next years tour, the women in the pub who were knitting (really!) and a 101 other topics. Uproarious laughter startled the other patrons and (before I left anyway) only one drink was split . Sulky dispensed largesse in the form of cds of recent shows and we consulted on the make-up of a ' best of' collection of the many shows he recorded. It was all over way too quickly - roll on the next time!

To be honest, I don't know why I bother turning up, I can't get a word in past Mr Foyle, Vg insults me for not making all the CDs that he want's and , to add insult to injury, I get punctuation lesson'es from a Welshman !!
As always great to have a healthy turnout and to be reminded of the gap in the compilation due to my laxity in not attending all the tour and if anyone complains about the lack of a recording from Brighton of Tempted ..........

It's only available for personal collection at London meet ups.

Don't get me started - your father's birthday is no excuse for missing a show.

And Neil. - I enjoyed our conversation about the right placing of apostrophes. Shame everything you said was wrong

It was a great day. I lost count (and sense) after 8 pints.

Look forward to the next one!

the women in the pub who were knitting (really!)
I was surprised the chant from the ECfan forum table of "Get your Knits out for the lads ..." didn't get us in more trouble.**

It was great fun - thanks v much for the CDs, Sulky, and thanks, John, for sending me those other CDs, which I got yesterday - really grateful, what with the lack of new EC stuff at the mo!

P.S. Verbal and Sulky, you can kiss my correctly apostrophised ass!
