Looking back at this one:

What a rockin' version! Steve is particularly good here. Overall, just outstanding.

Haha, I love the little theremin flourish Steve throws in when EC calls his name at the end. Steve is the best.

How I wish I had a second camera on Steve! He's a show unto himself - sort of a mad professor surrounded by keyboards.the_platypus wrote:Haha, I love the little theremin flourish Steve throws in when EC calls his name at the end. Steve is the best.

This should be nicknamed the 'Fuck you' version, like the 'Judas' version of Like A Rolling Stone.

Excellent point. This 2 second clip immediately preceeds the song:Jeremy Dylan wrote:This should be nicknamed the 'Fuck you' version, like the 'Judas' version of Like A Rolling Stone.

According to ba, who was close by, EC was responding to a heckler in the front row who was complaining about the "country music".
Is this what you're referring to, Jeremy? If not, that's quite a coincidence.

That's cool. The anger really carried itself right into the song.Jeremy Dylan wrote:That's precisely what I'm referring to.

Re: Brilliant Mistake 2011...brilliant!
this was EC and crews fault entirely. it was the drunk pig who had been brought on stage earlier in the night, allowed to get too comfortable upon the bands stage...including "grinding" with E as he played. at this point, she should have been thrown from the building or at least brought to the upper balcony. so, as the night and her liquor consumption progressed, along with her feelings of entitlement, she thought she was setlist arranger for the entire evening. very happy when E gave her the big flip off. that's my recollection of how it went anyway...docinwestchester wrote:Excellent point.
