Elvis Costello & The Attractions - 16 August 1984

The fine folks @ Easytree have posted another.

One of my all time favorite Elvis shows.

While Goodbye Cruel World was not one of his best albums, the US to support it might have some of the best shows he ever did with The Attractions. On this night, Pete Thomas, Bruce Thomas and Maurice Worm, are joined by Gary Barnacle on saxaphone. They were incredible. The way they played off of each other during the show was an amazing. (Elvis wasn't the guitar player then that he is now).

The acoustic's of Radio City Music Hall lend itself to the incredible night. While I don't have the exact lineage of the show, the tape it was transfered from is first generation.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I do

On a scale of 1 - 10, With 10 being soundboard quality, I would rate it an 8. High quality for a show thats 20 years old. Very listenable and enjoyable.
