Still being pretty new, I don't quite know what I can say that would mean anything....but I'd like to at least send my condolences.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss, Rope, and wish there was something I could do. Keep in mind that time can do wonders.

I've not been to very many concerts, unfortunately...but here goes: Best: Elvis Costello, Taste of Chicago, July 2003 The only time I've seen Elvis live, and I even got to go with my favorite person :) Worst: Def Leppard, OH State Fair, 1999 Ugh. My best friend in HS made me go to this with her. So ...

I didn't get to go :(

I even managed convinced her we should go, only to find out that the local theater stopped playing it on weekends for some reason, and no other theater in town is showing it at all. I hate living in smalltown Indiana :(

Blue's favorite Mac & Cheese. Straight from Betty Crocker, and pretty darn tasty. 2 cups macaroni (uncooked) 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 2 cups milk 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (though I've...

I agree that Rome isn't entirely touristy...it's more of a real city. Similar in tourists as NYC - you see a lot of them, but it's also a real city with lots of locals. It is touristy enough that most people speak English (which is true throughout a good part of Italy I've found). I definitely agree...

Rome is an amazing place, as I'm sure you'll see. Idle's tips were great. But something very important was forgotten: Make sure you eat lots of gelato (Italian Ice Cream)!!! Mmmmmmmmmm so good. :D

I was Little Bo Peep last night for the trick or treaters. That was fun, though I was one of the few people that dressed up, so i felt a bit overdressed. Oh well - the kids got a big kick out of it :)

Well I'm not so worried as to whether *I* will like it, but instead if my friend with bland tastes will. Is it a movie that will please the average all-American girl whose favorite movie is The Cutting Edge?

Intolerable Cruelty

I've yet to see this movie - and was wondering if I could hear from those of you that have. I'm hoping to go see it this weekend, but I was curious if I could get some feedback first - I'm sure I'll see it at some point as I'm a huge Coen brothers fan, but the question is if it is a movie that has a...

I'm not only a big Elvis fan, but also Eddie Izzard, one of the guests that night. I had a friend tape it for me when I was in England, but unfortunately she lost it before I came home.
