Post by LessThanZero »

I'm an elviscostellofan freak.

Yes, I have tickets to both the Chicago show AND the Nashville show. Wow, Nashville's farther away than I thought... :D

Who all are going to these shows?? We HAVE to meet before show for dinner and drinks!

Maybe in Nashville he'll sing Sweet Dreams with the Brodskys....

I will really miss you folks when I'm working for the man starting next month. :(

LTZ: Dude, are you high? That's at least over 500 miles of travel for you! What were you thinking?

Me and DrS will be there, Mr & Mrs Mood, Cosmos - that's all I know of so far. We're on Rows E and F.

Are you driving or flying? Jody's going to take away your credit card! :o

It is Mardi Gras that night, you know. 8)

LTZ,

I'm in Chicago. Let's definitely meet for dinner et al. El, Di, and I already have a booth at the the Burger King on Wacker reserved, but I think we can squeeze you in. Just order light. No Supersizing. That's Elvis' job!

Seriously, email me closer to the date.

BTW, is the entire tour with the Brodskys? I'm clueless.

cbartl: I think the only three shows he is playing with the Brodskys are at the Wang, the Beacon, and the Ryman. The show at the Oriental is with Steve.

Lessthanzero should go completely crazy and come to Clearwater. Anyone else going? I may not be tempting enough but Mr. Misery has promised to attend. :D

Umm, does that mean you're flying, or does "winging it" mean something else? :?

Tell me where you're sitting! I've waited so long to meet you! :)

Well..................

It did mean we were flying, but now that you mention it....

We're sitting (according to EBAY) in Row J in the Orchestra if I remember correctly...I hope they don't make me play an instrument!

Other Brodsky shows (maybe?)

I think he's playing Seattle and Oregon with just the Brodskies (check ticketmaster for those shows)...y'all should come out for those shows :-) Supposed to be doing Juliet Letters songs No, LTZ you are not crazy, I went to like 44 shows in the last two years and I'm scheduled to go to Vancouver, Seattle and San Francisco this March. I totally wish I could make the Ryman...you won't be disappointed. 2002's show there was drop dead gorgeous!! He really takes advantage of the acoustics and with Steve and the Brodskies y'all are in for a real treat! Have a great time!

NO, I have not received those Oriental tickets yet. It's like there's a Great Wall or something.

I can't wait to break my Brodsky Ryman in Nashville next month!!

LTZ, scavenger hunt! if you can find me, the semi-blonde with the POW haircut and my husband, who'll be the guy with the scruffy beard who looks like he'd rather be in hell, at the Ryman--I'll buy you a beer. Extra points for Cosmos and the Spookys.

that's a good idea, VG, but I'm going to be careening/staggering around in heels. one carnation might tip me over. maybe if I wear two. but then everybody else would have to, right? and mine would have to be identical in weight. it's a puzzly puzzle.
