Yeah looks like he could be the next Anderton.

Yes, anything is better than what we've recently had. I couldn't give a toss where he comes from. He has a track record and he can make things happen. Mourinho would have been a fun choice and perhaps more one of 'ours', but too bad.

I love it. You and just about every other non-Chelsea supporter I know spent 3-4 years telling everyone what a dickhead Mourinho was and how anyone could have won the league with the resources he had at his disposal. Yet now he's England manager material and "one of yours"!?! :?:

Of course. What else do you expect? I already miss his presence on MOTD.

Grant's not lighting it up for you with his sparkling wit and passion?

Not exactly, but he's managed to retain his dignity reasonably well.

Well you can't argue with the results, but I would take exception to the rhetoric. We are playing arguably less entertaining football under Grant than we were under Mourinho.

Arsenal this weekend. Dunno what to make of this one yet. A draw under any circumstances would suit me fine, but I expect we'll lose by a goal.

I'll settle for the draw. Between the London teams, that is!

Fabio, I love you already. Even though you speak no English, you can make us win the World Cup again, so you're alright with me.

Well you were right WSS! I would have settled for the draw, though the win helped me redeem something in a crap FF week, as did Tevez's glorious contribution. I love it soooo much when the Chosen Ones beat Crapitez's boys away.

That was a bogus pk. Absolutely bogus! 8)

But the defense definitely has that certain Larry, Moe and Curly thing going for it. Mostest looked good, tho. And I thought he played well too.

Olympiacos in the CL!! Could have been much worse. I like our chances.

Liverpool are screwed and Arsenal have a tough job beating Milan.

Sanchez out at Fulham.

This is has become a team in dire need of some stability. Too bad the Dolphins just hired the Tuna.

So what's the new manager speculation?

John Collins. Hibernian manager until his resignation earlier this week and former Fulham player.

The question will be - "will John Collins start Collins John?" (I think Collins John is still on the roster).

Would be a good move. I was surprised he left Hibs. Did a good job there and they just opened some state-of-the-art training center thingymabob.

Collins and John did both play for Fulham at the same time.

Happy with the Milan tie. Liverpool seem to save their best form for CL and so could beat Inter. Chelsk and mu should win with comfort. Celtic may go out though.

Can't wait for the excitement of Fulham vs Wigan tomorrow in the freezing windswept riverside cottage, but hope to enjoy the early game whilst supping Guinness in a nearby hostelry.

Every other time I watch one of the games, I sit there going 'that's some serious rain!' ,'jesus christ, it's dark!' and 'damn, it looks like COLD.'

I am told on good authority that Mostest had offers from Spain. I often wonder what's running through his mind.

You're kidding! Why be happy to be drawn against the holders one of the two or three teams most likely to be able to beat Arse? I'm very relieved we're not. Arse may be playing some great footie this season, but their lack of experience against the mighty Meeelan will tell, for sure. I'd say this will be difficult for them. I'd like to see them get to the final, and lose to our boys just as they will come second in the Prem, and lose the FA Cup - Wenger deserves to do well. Maybe age will start to tell against Milan. I haven't seen them play this season, and they appear to be trailing a bit in the table, though if they win their games in hand they're 5th as things stand. Did you see them play Celtic?

You never know with Arsenal.

I loved the way the youngsters beat a near full strength Blackburn side earlier in the week. It's led me to drop Friedel from my fantasy team!

Bitter and twisted? Yes. Jealous of the Arse success? yes. Wish we were Arse? No fucking way.

Lucky cunts!!! They can fuck right off along with their manager with his selctive blindness. We at least deserved a draw and wanky Wenger pops up and says "we controlled the game...." What a total tosser. I so so so want Utd to win the league. :x

Ps. Nothin personal :D
