Maybe its not all that similar, but now I'm going crazy trying to determine if he did recently play those two songs in a row or it was just my imagination.
When in doubt, this is the Revolver Bible (ANCT edition):

July 19th show in Asheville: Don't Lie To Me was track #24, Out Of Time was track #29. Nice try though. "Just My Imagination" wouldn't be a bad cover either, eh?

But that would be a cover of a cover- hardly counts in my book!

Sorry all - as interesting as this is, it has been pointed out that they did TOWN CRIER!

I'd also love to see His Latest Flame segued again with The Greatest Thing like he did in 1984.

When was the last time Town Cryer played? The Wiki only lists a first time played.

Don't tell anyone...but I prefer the Stones' version. Much funkier.

Doctor-shh! Me too! And I like that one even more than their pedestrian remake of "Ain't too Proud to Beg" from years later.

Elvis Costello SOLD OUT the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center

July 28th, 2011 - by Patrick Galway

Elvis Costello and the Imposters played to a sold out audience at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. On stage was a huge game show wheel ,“The Spectacular Spinning Songbook”, which selected audience members put into motion featuring song titles like the first spun classic “Accidents Will Happen”.

A highlight for the evening was the song “Town Cryer”, which is virtually never played live. It was absolutely fantastic!

“Radio Radio” was awesome. The beads were flying as a Go-Go Girl was relentlessly tearing up the Go-Go Cage.

The theatre of 425 seats was an intimate setting for the Grammy winning Elvis Costello and the Imposters. “A Slow Drag with Josephine” was beautifully done. Costello briefly sang acapella, which truly felt like Elvis was in your living room.

Fedoras off to the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center for bringing such musical Icons to the hamlet.

425 seats?

I've never seen Elvis do a full show somewhere that small. What a treat!

Set list was excellent---crowd was poor---very stuffy and uptight...no dancing of any type...

Sound and performance was strong throughout

Not surprised at the more subdued encores, as this was not the PLU crowd for sure...in stark contrast to bridgeport and cape cod crowds.

That's Westhampton in a nutshell.

EC could have used a the line "as far as I know, there are no rules that say you cannot dance...I know we've had this problem in Westhampton before.." as a homage to this moment in 1978:

Without a doubt this would not have been appreciated.
