This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

picked up these three siouxsie albums, all remastered with bonus tracks for £6 each. i've always loved the scream but had forgotten how good join hands was, it stands up very well.

SLL, you should check out this John Cale-produced one from 1995, if you don't know it already:

Not a bad moment on it-- it's haunting and melodic, occasionally poppy (the first track is downright cheery) often very prog-rock in the best ways, and sometimes more heavy, pounding-style goth. The 11.5-minute title song's a prog killer, switching gears like those great early Genesis tracks. The song Forever is an opium-drenched waltz. Actually the whole thing's like a very good drug experience. Someone else around here was a fan of it... Hungup Strungup, maybe.

I've been mildly interested in Siouxie & The Banshees for a while but have no idea what they sound like. Juju sounds interesting, reading about it. Would it be a good place to start?

Album was released in 1965. Great great downtown folk record.

Amazing to see Elton that way, no? That record's a fantastic one, even if dated.

Miles Davis - "Pangea" Live Japan. Goes from the sublime to the ridiculous and back. At times it rocks so ferociously that it is scary, and other times you almost have to turn up the volume to hear the subtities of the movements. This is a great electronic Miles album for the daring.

Found a copy of the Matador vinyl reissue in New York earlier in the week. Not cheap, but well worth the investment.
