I’d like to hear Shoes without heels and Getting mighty crowded.
I’d love to see some other really obscure one offs that he has done in the past eg My Ever Changing Moods although that’s a challenge for another tour perhaps.
Interesting idea VG, perhaps someone in Elvis' camp looks at the Fan Forum from time to time?
As a tribute to Alan Partridge it would be cool if he played "Knowing Me, Knowing You" at the show in Norfolk on November 1st.
This song has been played live only 10 times, mostly on the 1986/87 Costello Sings Again tour, and only twice in the US. It was an option on the Spectacular Spinning Songbook.
Or he could play either "Little Palaces" or "Uncomplicated" at the show in Hershey, VA on October 24th.
Agreed, Verbal, Shoes Without Heels is a stone cold classic that I've never heard done live. King of Confidence would be great to hear ringing out into an auditorium, too.

I agree with the inclusion of King of Confidence as well.
I don’t mind that Shoes Without Heels was “...written in 10 minutes on the back of a hotel cocktail napkin” as Elvis put in his reissue notes.
If this tour is going to be "Trust" based then maybe next year we could have a sort of countryish feel with some "Almost Blue" and "Delivery Man" tracks and these mentioned above would fit in fine with that sort of idiom. Not quite Sugarcanes but in that whole Americana ballpark perhaps ?
If I had to pick ONE obscurity for Elvis to play, I'm gonna push past my usual wish (my favorite song, "My Dark Life") to a great track he has NEVER played live before:
"IMPATIENCE"
A "North" bonus track! A fun one! He liked it enough to include it on his "best of The Polygram Years" compilation, Pomp & Pout.
My guess is that this is highly unlikely, but if it DOES show up in the tour, we will know for certain where he got the suggestion from...
Preferably at this Tuesday's Port Chester show, if possible!
I always felt like "Impatience" sounded like a lost track from a totally different album than North! For one thing, it features The Imposters + Marc Ribot, when only Steve is on the rest of North. Did they record any other songs? (How I wish we could have Rhino-style reissues of the albums from PFM to the present! We are missing roughly 10 or so bonus discs' worth of demos, alternate takes & non-album material!)
I feel like "Impatience" is a song that fits in quite nicely with the material on LOOK NOW-- it even sounds like it is good friends with "Why Won't Heaven Help Me?"
