London meet up - Saturday 2nd February
As we cannot find a date before Christmas for festive Forum frolics, a get together has been arranged on Saturday 2nd February where we will discuss at what date you should stop saying Happy New Year and other important issues of the day.
So far
John Foyle
Neil.
goon squad
sulky lad
Sheeptotheslaughter
and me are definitely attending.
We’d love to see you in the Woodin Shades, Bishopsgate from 2pm.
Sulky may have some belated Christmas presents...

By the way, Ian Sephton will be bringing along copies of this fantastic triple cd which you can buy for an absolute bargain price of £10. Have a look at the CD here https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07J1NYNPL/ ... solut08-21
Ian put this charity CD together as well as a concert.
If you are interested in buying the CD then please let me know as it’s cheaper to buy it from Ian directly and it means more of the money goes to the charities. I can co-ordinate this.

I have a family event on the same day with Mrs Sheep's family. I will make an appearance though for a few hours as I missed the last one.

I have thought a couple of times of inviting him before. I thought it might be a bit of a strange thing to invite him to. Any idea where he lives?

There's no harm in inviting him - what's the worst that he can say?
I would just hope that if he came along, none of us are blacklisted by Elvis in the future!

Bruce replied to a invitation I sent last evening-
'That's very kind of you. I'm busy this weekend, but please give my very best wishes to one and all -- Paulina P and Steve Breakey, if they are there, and all others. Have a great day,. Stay cool. Stay warm.'

That’s a kind rejection. We’ll give him a bit more notice next time!

Great, Sheep, cos he obviously trusts you and acknowledges your inship over football, as demonstrated at the book reading last October.
He might find us a wee bit obsessive though - as witnessed by last year's Davidstow odyssey !

He does send me quite a few 'football' related messages.
the table is booked for 2pm. She said she would try and get us a table with a view of the TV in case we were interested in watching the rugby. I must admit I forgot it was on. I said we would probably be to engrossed in our sparkling conversation (or singing) to worry about the rugby

I hope our weather doesn’t affect anybody’s travel (particularly anyone travelling in from Chicago who will no doubt be happy to get away from that -20 degrees!).

Whinging yanks, we’ve had nearly 3 inches of snow here and nearly minus 4 overnight , so of course the whole county has ground to a halt . Hoping trains will be running ok by tomorrow !

Made it up to London from the West Country by train today with no dramas. Even arrived on time for once! Fingers crossed that everybody else has trouble free journeys.
