Elvis plays Sheffield 20 March 2017
Presumably part of a wider European tour.
Beyond excited. I usually have to travel miles to see him, so a hometown gig is great news.

I met him at Glasgow, BA, we trade a load of DVDs. First met in the flesh at Leeds University 2005. Great chap, he was on Rome to see EC amongst other things earlier this year !
Bit disappointed that Sheffield is a continuation of Detour - with no formal new stuff it seems a bit random to hope for anything wildly different . The Imposter shows have emphasised how (for want of a better word) stale the Detour feels. I really liked the lack of talking in these Imposter shows - if music could talk (sic)

Bagged 2 second row tickets. Would have preferred an Imposters show but, ultimately , will take whatever is offered.

I have two spare tickets for this concert. Excellent seats, one mid front row and one mid second row, available at face value (£52.50). If anyone's interested, let me know.
As this is the first post from a long term lurker and recently signed up forum member, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank those involved in managing the site and the many regular contributors who generously share their extensive knowledge, thoughts and emerging news about EC .
Update: front row seat taken.

Find I know someone who can't go to this show now. She tells me that she has 2 tickets going at face value £43.50 each, good seats in the circle. Send me a PM if you're interested.

For those who are interested, Bill Kirchen plays Sheffield Greystones on 21st March. Sadly, he's in Cardiff on the 20th, or we might have seen a guest appearance.
Busy week for me though. Manchester on Sunday, Sheffield on Monday and Bill Kirchen on Tuesday.

I could be persuaded to sit in a pub for a while.

Re: Elvis plays Sheffield 20 March 2017
I've decided to go tonight.
All a bit last minute, just bought a ticket from the box office, front row of the balcony to print at home.
If I leave in the next 30 minutes I'll be in Sheffield by 6pm depending on traffic and weather.
If Elvis isn't decided on bringing Imperial Bedroom to the UK it might be my last chance of seeing him for a while.
