He's been careful to avoid promising to play the complete album, but I'd be really surprised if they didn't play all 15 songs from Imperial Bedroom, if not necessarily in the album order.
Nine of the songs have already been played with the Imposters in the last few years — "Beyond Belief." "Shabby Doll," "The Long Honeymoon," "Man Out Of Time," "Almost Blue," "Human Hands," "Kid About It," "You Little Fool," and "Town Cryer."
We already know "...And In Every Home" and "The Loved Ones" are being rehearsed.
"Tears Before Bedtime" hasn't been played since the Allen Toussaint tour in 2006, but I think it could really benefit from the additional singers. I don't think Elvis has ever tried to reproduce the "vocal group" sound of the studio version in concert.
"Pidgin English" was last heard in 1987, but it was played quite a few times with the Attractions, and I have no reason to doubt the Imposters could pull it off.
"Little Savage" and "Boy With A Problem" have only been played once each, so I suppose if any songs were to be skipped they would be the most likely candidates. But I think he'll play them all.
This has nothing to do with Imperial Bedroom, but can he work with Kitten Kuroi and resist playing "Leave My Kitten Alone"?
