Amy Winehouse
23rd July 2011, Amy Winehouse was found dead at her north London home, she was 27. The troubled singer had a long battle with drink and drugs which overshadowed her recent musical career. I wish I had an extra life where I could just indulge in all the greatest drugs for maximum fun as soon as possible... yeah, I don't care.

Re: Amy Winehouse
Amy Winehouse was a gigantic talent - a generational one, really - and her demise was a loss to all of music. 'Back to Black' is one of the top albums of its decade for me.
Her death wasn't just caused by drug abuse, but also by bulimia, which rendered her system incapable of enduring what she put it through. Here is my favourite piece on this painful subject. http://pitchfork.com/thepitch/861-we-ne ... her-death/
That the 'culture' around this sublime talent has been reduced to 'live fast die young!' and drug/party culture bullsh*t is grotesque.
