Elvis Costello 60th Birthday Podcast
Hey guys.
In celebration of Elvis's 60th birthday, I made a two-and-a-half hour podcast featuring over thirty songs as well as commentary from various podcasters and writers who are Elvis fans (including Costello biographer Graeme Thomson and a few members of this forum).
If you'd like to check it out, here's the link: http://jorgefarah.com/2014/08/25/everyi ... ravaganza/
So if you're looking for something to listen to...
Happy birthday Elvis!

Good on you. Thank you for sharing. What I have listened to so far has been balanced and well presented. Nice choice to let the songs speak, for the most part, for themselves. Well done.

Re: Elvis Costello 60th Birthday Podcast
Damn, I was on holiday and celebrating my wife's birthday that day with a special playlist for the car, and totally forgot it was Elv's 60th! I did include After The Fall on the playlist mind, one that goes straight back to our early days together in Spain. Plus we were camping (in Sweden, yay!), so it was especially apposite, even if we were actually doing it for real in the countryside.
Belated warm 60th thoughts to Elv. he shares my wife's birthday (plus Sean Connery and Martin Amis), and he's 10 years less a month older than I.
Nice playlist there too!

Great job ! I just finished listening to it , over several days..............a chunk here and a chunk there. There were some interesting inclusions on it , and not knowing what was coming next made it quite addictive. I'm sure all Elv fans would pick different songs, each to their own, but it was still very good and well worth the listen. Nice one !
