No, it was between 'Rodger', 'Garry' and 'Elbert'. In the end 'Rodger' (must have the 'd' to add to the 'r' & 'g' sounds) won out because it seemed to suggest the combination of 1. an appreciation of grooviness, and 2. rigid authoritarianism.
So... why did you name me 'Mick', Mr. A? That is worse than 'Tony'...
