Happy Birthday Spooky
Today (August 30) is Michele's birthday. With the board not having power, this thread couldn't be started earlier.
Happy Birthday Michele! I love you!

I can't really describe what a shitty day today was - well, actually, I feel like a spoiled rotten brat for saying that. I think to myself that I know there are others who had it worse than me, especially those who were close to the coast. I guess there's just a small part of me who just want a special day on my birthday, but sadly, this is adult life. We deal with what we are dealt.
I woke up with no power, winds blew so hard all last night that I barely slept, and I awoke to a yard (literally) full of leaves and branches to the point where I had to clear the driveway before I could drive out. We got the kids ready for school with no power and still didn't receive power until almost 6:00 pm this evening. By the time we helped all four kids finish their homework, it was so late and the winds were kicking up again, that we resorted to take out pizza rather than going out to dinner. That's what I get for having a birthday on a school night.
Doc was great - he took off to be beside me today and gave me a couple of wonderful gifts tonight, but I was just really down today. I appreciate all of your wonderful well wishes and must admit I felt a bit of a void today not being able to come to the board. It was just a odd day - all over the world, I think.
The weather was so bad today, high winds, rain and gray skies, trees down all over town, power out everywhere. Wind like I've never seen wind blow. We're so far inland, I would have just never dreamed we could have had backlash from the hurricane this serious. Glad at least that the board is back up.
And Pophead, wherever you are, I hope you're okay and that we hear from you soon.
I will start my birthday over in a couple of days and try it all again.
I love you guys.

Happy Birthday Spooky !
Is it REALLY a year since your last one, or as Queen of the Board have you decided to have a state birthday too ?
By my watch you have 50 minutes left to celebrate - I hope the day ends with something to put a smile on your face.
You're catching up to me

Many Happy and Healthy Returns, Spooky Girlfriend.
I appreciate all that you do for the forum. Where would we be without you and your better half...errr, the Man of the House, errr. the guy that lives with you and has probably forgotten more about computers than I have ever learned
A spring chicken with the best of life still to come. You appear to live it with zeal and gusto. Congratulations. Stay eternally young so the kids will always connext, relate, and most importan, wonder what the hell you are up to. Always keep 'em guessing.

Spooky
I'm really sorry you had to spend such a special day in such circumstances.
You've given the board the best present you could have done on your birthday. We know you, the Doc and the family are safe and sound.
When you do find time to celebrate, please think of everybody on this board who knows you, loves you and appreciates everything you do for us.
If anybody on this board deserves the happiest of birthdays then it's you.
Much love
