Any "just-turned-18-yesterday" suggestions? I know that porn is always good, but what else has become legal for me?

Aw, thanks a lot everyone.
I'll definitly consider dying for my country. I know I could have before... but now, being 18, it's sort of encouraged.

Luckily, for his own health, WHaR was not born here in the antipodes... 18 and he could enter any pub or club he likes with a completely clear conscience (but leave with a not so completely clear mind).
Happy bidet WHaR!!

You can get tried as an adult, statutory rape means you too all that and getting kicked out of your parents home with no legal recourse. So you better watch your step.
Otherwise happy birthday and may you grow in health, joy and wisdom.

Happy Birthday, WHAR. As a relatively new poster on this Board, who has nevertheless followed with amusement the back-and-forth between you and your (I think) decidedly older bete noires on this board, I am stunned that you were 17 when all this was going on. You go, boy!!

From what I remember the only special thing I did for my 18th was buy a lotto ticket that didn't win. It's kind of a fake momentous birthday if you ask me. Though the voting thing does rule. Make sure you do it - not enough people do.
Happy Birthday

Haha, thanks Alex.
RedShoes! I'm still in the "my vote doesnt count" mindset.
I mean... it really doesn't... does it?

You obviously haven't heard the old adage "If voting could change anything it would be abolished".
Hope you have/had a great birthday.
For most of us, 18 was a long time ago. Particularly when last weekend was a long time ago.

You know, I met DrS when I was 18. Although we weren't married for many years later, that part of my life was much more important than I realized at the time.
Many happy wishes for you!

Aw, this thread makes me happy. Thanks everyone. Sadly, there's been no word from Doofster... the only post I make that he won't spoil.
