In just passing the two year mark from the death of my father-in-law, age 60, and the upcoming two year mark of my brother's death, age 32, I have been thinking about what these men left behind.
Obviously, neither was contemplating that their "time" was when it came, consequently both left behind much that we are still coming across - papers, personal items, etc.
We just finally got some tools from DrS's father and my sister-in-law is still finding things now as she gets ready to move into a new house. Probably the funniest just happened a couple of days ago.
My brother left a computer that he had "fried" and put aside for, well, I don't know what. My sister-in-law didn't know what to do with it and it has been sitting in our attic for months. Now follow me. DrS just gave it away to his ex-wife's husband who tinkers in computers, since he is a stay-at-home mom.

So, there stands my husband, talking to his ex-wife about porn pics that my brother had on his computer. Pretty funny. And I'm thinking to myself, what would I leave behind that people would find and wonder about? What is it I think I would be best remembered for?
What do you want to be remembered for?
