Nice! Watch out for big magnets! Will you have problems getting through airport security?
It's a radiation vibe I'm groovin' on

OWCH!!! That's some break SMM....I feel for you.
Best wishes for it to heal quick. I've never had a bone break, but I have torn both my kneecaps out before playing football, and so feel your pain!

This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

It's okay, LTZ. We still love you.
Gosh, mug, that had to hurt. I know, too. I hope you're healing up quickly.

Yikes!! Hope it heals quickly. Oddly enough my cat had some similar hardware on her leg after she got caught in a trap. Our vet called her a "conversation piece".
Like me, the "g" is silent.

Hmmm.. dunno what happened to the first reply I posted.
Anyway, thank you all. It doesn't hurt too badly at all now, I just thought the picture was very cool!
SLL-- luckily the $6 mil was covered by insurance.
LTZ-- so odd you can't see the pix on fotolog. What ever shall we do?
You guys rock.

The break and big pieces of metal I'm fine with, it is the staples that get me. Yeeeeowww. Cool pic, though.

Ouch!!
No, my son had a very similar situation with his femur back when he was racing BMX, had a lovely "nail" (much like your plate) in his leg for over a year.
Do you get to take yours out after the fact, Mug, and keep it as a souvenier, or did your doc say to leave it in your body for, like, forever??
Ewwww....
