Before the end of February, I plan to replace the CD drive in the computer running The Board with a DVD drive. This will result in a little bit of downtime.
After that is done, I will be doing a software upgrade which should require a few hours of downtime if all goes well.
The exact timing all depends on how nice the weather is and what is going on. It won't happen next weekend because that is St. Valentine's Day and SpookyG and I have plans.
I have swapped the CD drive with a DVD drive and upgraded the OS from GNU/Linux Fedora 9 to Fedora 10. It is in the middle of downloading the updates now. After those are installed, there will be a reboot. I hope I am not speaking prematurely but the entire upgrade process seems to be going smoothly and should be over within an hour or two.
