I like the line "She was selling speed boats in a trade show when he met her" in When I Was Cruel. I remember one reviewer saying EC sang it as though it was the most dispicable job in the world.

Also, I love his voice on Damnation's Cellar, "there are murders to solve."

When Out of Our Idiot came out I regularly saw it in the Various Artists section of record shops! It was credited to Various due to EC's pseudonyms on the album.

EC said the tune was based on True Love by Cole Porter, and Scarlet Ribbons and he sang it on a BBC documentary about Spike. I love the song, but I am not sure that cellophane windows would last too long on a warm winter stove.

My local Virgin is selling the Hip O digipak editions at £5.99. No extra tracks but nice to have anyway! I don't want to be tempted...but I probably will be! It's an expensive business being an EC fan.
