Fan meet-up, London, Fri. March 9th '12
A few of us - me , MOOT, Verbal , Sulky etc - are going to the Nick Lowe show in London next Friday, March 9th. After a lunchtime flight from Dublin I'll be in central London by around 4PM. It seems like as good an excuse as any for a meet-up, even for those not going to the show. What about the Garrick pub (near the concert venue), Charing Cross Road, any time from 4 onwards?

Time Out London is previewing this series of shows and has this to say:
Looking foward to meeting the Cool Kids somewhere near Leicester Square on Friday afternoon.
MOOT
I think they like him.Stiff Records veteran Lowe - who some years back enjoyed an unexpected windfall from the use of '(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding?' in the movie 'Lost in Translation' - purveys deep and dark, simple and joyous music, gloriously distinguished by the classic and timeless touch of a sensitive and intelligent master.

Hello, I'll definitely drop in once I can get out of work, do you think you'll still be in the Garrick around 5.30-6?

It was great to catch up with Verbal, MOOT & 'Roofdog. Drinks at the Garrick, eats at Gabys, a cracking show by Nick Lowe - a perfect evening!

The review reflects the show in Malmö some weeks ago as well!
