I enjoyed this programme, which seemed to present a plausible account of which UK bands succeeded in the US and which did not. However, there was (for me) a glaring omission - The Clash.
I suspect they did not fit with the overriding thesis that only those bands who sucked up to the radio stations and record company executives, toured from the East Coast to the West and looked good on MTV, had any long term success.
