Re: Poly Styrene RIP
This is really sad.
She was completely let down by the system in these last few months. Heard some awful stories. (I've just been busy working with her label in these past few weeks; they've just released Poly's latest album, Generation Indigo. We knew she was quite sick and getting worse by the day, but thought she had another few months, or at least weeks. Very sad to hear it was not to be.)

There was a good Relative Values article in the Sunday Times a little while ago.
One of the first records I ever bought was The Day the World Turned Dayglo on orange vinyl.
Very sad.

Blimey, first Ari Upp and then Poly a few months later. her memory lives on every time my covers band does Oh Bondage Up Yours! Our singer does the loud scream at the end very well. We played a wedding last summer and the happy couple chose it as part of their setlist!
A true original.
