I think you all look lovely, and I don't know why, almost as I pictured you all. All except Otis, who I expected to look more like his old avatar. I bet he's got army boots on under the table and his bowler's out of the frame.

Now, if I could just keep my undying love for BlueChair a secret...any guys on the board who like black chicks...?
Hmmm....black chicks, white chicks, tall chicks, short chicks, young chicks, old chicks, and most other chicks are all wondeful!

bah!!! Nonsense Noise...what's that line about eventhough you're on a diet you can still look at the menu... :D
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. Do you think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fuckin' cross? It's kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on.

I'm married too, Noise, but Pip and I discussed this last night.

It's just being comprehensive to find out what these people look like that we've been writing to.

Comprehensive, yeah, that's it. That's the ticket. 8)

Okay that wasn't the pic I intended to send to Spooky, but yeah, those are tiny Dutch shoes. Refrigerator magnets, to be exact.

No Dutch people were harmed in the shooting of that picture.

KOC - glad no tiny dutch people suffered for that pic. If you want to send another one, go ahead!

Okay. More pics. The first one is Selfmademug with her son. Simply beautiful!

The next one is Sulky Girl's ever so hip almost 16 year-old son, Gordon:

And, the now infamous "FB", Sulky's husband:

Another round of thanks to the Spookster, from those of us who have no "web presence!"

Now, if we could see the remaining regulars (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) on here, that'd be great. I love seeing all you guys; I wish you could all come 'round my house for a barbecue...

I know I haven't posted a pic but it's not for any other reason than the fact that I have very few pics of myself. Not trying to be a stick in the mud....just not too sure that I'm one of the "regulars" that everyone is yet waiting to see. Except for a kind few, just about everything I've said on this site has been most noticeably ignored....by me.
No, no pity party. I just haven't figured it out. I've tried to be friendly and intelligent and thoughtful but have not become a member of your mutual admiration society.
Wow, are you guys THAT touchy about Bebe Buell?

Yeah, so I'm working on a pic. Then you'll have a face to picture while you're ignoring my posts.
I'm not angry anymore....

Quit it, Pear...

You know we love you, and have welcomed you into the fold. And have I not responded to your posts?

In regards to your suggestion about board members' photos being part of the CD package--I DID consider it, but not everyone is willing (or, for that matter, obligated) to post personal pictures. By the same token, it's better for some of us to keep or 'anonymity' (spelling, Miss BA?).

And whatever you do, don't take too much of what goes on here personally. As I mentioned to Rope (in another thread), boards like these allow folk to vent on each other without the chance of physical violence. Get that shit outta your systems, boys & girls!!

And if you REALLY want to know what being ignored is all about...

Have you checked out the "Conversation Killers" thread recently??

Lots of love--
[Stick around, you'll get used to us]

Hey, pophead...where'd ya go??

I don't know, Sulky. I've considered commiting fan forum suicide. BTW, you are one of the "kind few".

But really, it's no fun taking the time to contribute and not be acknowledged. :(
Pick on me, laugh at me.....something! Or I will be forced to start a BB thread.

But I'm not completely crushed...it's just my shrink was getting a little bored, so I thought she'd get a kick out of my internet inferiority complex. :P

SweetPear, I thought your replies during the 'incident' were excellent and strong but non-combative. I enjoy reading your posts! Do not commit fan forum harikari! I know what it's like hearing that deafening silence after you post your wittiest remarks, but I keep coming back for more. It feeds my neuroses.
Like me, the "g" is silent.
