Song Titles Game - Part II

This is for all non-EC or peripheral-EC topics. We all know how much we love talking about 'The Man' but sometimes we have other interests.

Once covered by the Pointer Sisters. Trivia question for blooch: Which Graham Parker song was also once covered by the PS?

You Really Got A Hold on Me - The Beatles

Nice guesses, blooch, but actually the song was Turned Up Too Late. It was on the Pointer Sisters 1979 album, Priority. They did a pretty good job of it, if I remember correctly. Haven't heard it in years.

You can find the album, with some reviews here: http://www.amazon.com/Priority-12-Rpm-V ... 461&sr=1-1

(heard a good joke the other day about a Simply Red fan who had a bunny fetish - his favourite songs were Holding Back The Ears and Bunny's Too Tight To Mention)
