Nah. I think that we should both agree that the following have all had brilliant seasons (when they've been fit)

Robinson
King
Tainio
Carrick
Keane
Lennon

Jenas is steadily improving and 7 goals from midfield isn't bad.

Yes i'd agree with you on all of them - except im not a big fan of Tainio.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Carrick wont go to the Arse, that Lennon wins Young Player of the Year Award, and of course that we finish 4th!!

Arse match was a bit of a snooze. Villarreal should have been awarded a penalty when Gilberto took Jose Mari down. And Ballack confirmed to sign with Chelsea apparently, which should make Otis happy and get his blood boiling next season.

He's a knob with an annoying face, and seeing him prancing around in blue trying to do outdo pouting Jose in the Chosen One stakes is surely enough to make anyone puke up their dinner when watching Match of the Day.

Nice one Arse, knew you could do it. Should have been 2-0 as linesman was clearly wrong over that offside call. Let's face it, ArseBarce final is what the gods intended. I'm still recovering from the sight of Ronaldinho's milimetre perfect ball to Giuly and also the way he took on three or four defenders and get out of it with a back heel flip. Praying we get more of this in the World Cup. Surely he's going to go down as one of the most gifted players ever. In the all time top 5 with the likes of Maradona and Pele.

Still fancy the Arse. With Henry and fabregas in their side, you'd expect them to score in Spain.

Some strange decisions from the linesmen as well.....against both sides. Henry was way on side for the disallowed goal.

What are you on, Otis? Should have been 1-1. Stone cold penalty. Here's hoping Villarreal put them out of the CL and send Henry packing for Spain.

I hope Ballack scores a hat trick at OT and gives you the dry heaves for a week and a half. You wanna talk about annoying faces? Have you looked at Rio and Rooney lately? Both fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Didn't see the supposed penalty incident, only the disallowed goal on the news, which, as Jackson, the news and I could see without a moment's hesitation, was clearly a valid goal.

Rooney and Rio are beautiful and brilliant and Ballack is a bollock.

At last some serious football debate !!

Talking about Arse game - yes, Villareal should have been awarded a penalty, but let's face it, they did not deserve a draw, as Arsenal were a way better team. I hope to see Henry vs. Ronaldinho in the final.

Not so sure that Arse are the better team at all. Villarreal had half their team out and coped quite comfortably overall. But they didn't score away from home.....so i think that's it!

Now Savage is def a tosser, but, he's just become a bit of a self-parody....a comedy footballer. I don't have the same feelings towards him, as i do Lehman for example. He really fucks me off with his wanky running the width of the pitch to get involved in stuff that is none of his business etc.

Oooh, this could be fun. Some good ones you listed there. How about:

Robert Pires
Craig Bellamy
Jamie Carragher

Damn, just noticed you already listed Bellamy. Well, if anyone deserves to be smashed in the teeth twice it's him! :)

Bellamy, fair enough. But Pires and especially Carragher, never!

Don't know that German. Will I be able to hate him during the World Cup?

I'm sure you will. That's Sebastian Schweisteiger from Bayern Munich.
Author of a beautiful header into own net past surprised Oliver Kahn (two weeks ago as I now recall). You would love it !

Apparently, @ The Stadium of Light the Toon Army were chanting
"You're going down, with the Hoaxer"
and also
"You're worse than last time"
The 1st is funny, the 2nd just a statement of fact.

You have a problem with diving, but Pires is alright in your book?!?

Carragher is a nasty little prick. And I've never seen someone spit so much on the pitch. Not to mention that awful, whiny scouse accent.

I'd also like to give Rafa Benitez a slap while I'm at it, but I'm sure you think he's wonderful.
