Stupid is as stupid does.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid people that don't ask questions.

You asked a question, and got an answer. If you feel stupid, it should not be for this.

I don't think john's answer was intended to make you look like an idiot-- I don't detect any sarcasm, and he's doesn't strike me as the type who would be like that.

(I didn't know what "corker" meant either) :D

I was about to post almost exactly what johnfoyle posted this morning, WHAR, i.e. a dictionary definition. I would have meant no ill will and I'm sure john didn't either.
The expression must be much more familiar on this side of the Atlantic.
He was just saying that the new album is a cracker! :)

KRISPY

Do you mean the album is a saltine or do you mean it's a white guy?

It hardly makes sense, an album being a cracker.

I'm hungry.

cracker=a thing or person of notable qualities or abilities.

A Rope Leash:

Great Post:

"There are no stupid questions, only stupid people that don't ask questions.

You asked a question, and got an answer. If you feel stupid, it should not be for this. "

We differ philosophically about as much as Rene Descartes and Fredric Neitsche, but I love the brutal simplicity of your post.

Thanks

You only have a few weeks to go. Patience, my son.
This morning you've got time for a hot, home-cooked breakfast! Delicious and piping hot in only 3 microwave minutes.

I know, I know. I have been spoiled by the last two albums, which leaked months in advance. It's so close to the release date now, the illicit thrill of hearing it early diminishes with each passing day.

Indeed!

http://abc.es/abc/pg040829/prensa/notic ... EN-096.asp

In the middle of September it returns to the load, and

the front of the Imposters, its new band,

which the British genius returns to the territory of
the rock after the sober story that, the piano of
Stevie Snow, represented still recent his and touching

I also am willing to wait. There's nothing like getting a new disc, getting anxious during the trip home, and then putting it on for the first time.

Spooky and I were lucky enough to be at two of the Memphis HiTone shows back in April. I look forward to a nice CD with those songs arriving in our CD player.
