Interview with Elvis Costello

Elvis in new interview book
Fantagraphics is -- at least as far I knew until now -- exclusively a publisher of comics of one sort of another, everything from the Hernandez Bros. "Love and Rockets" to a new complete compilation of the entire "Peanuts" run as well as the incredibly erudite "The Comics Journal".
That they are apparently having to go into "straight" publishing is probably a sad commentary on the current state of the comics business -- still, it's not like it's a celebrity tell-all. Back in the day, Ms. McKenna was almost certainly the best of the L.A. Times rock critics, almost counterbalancing the heinously banal (and getting ever banaler to this day) Robert "He Helped Introduce me to EC But He Sucks Anyway" Hilburn
