Blue and Red shop where Elvis and Diana do?

There's a neat little record/music book shop in Toronto's trendy Yorkville area called Song & Script. Red and I went in yesterday and purchased a piano-guitar-vocal music book of The Very Best Of Elvis Costello.

The owner then proceeded to tell us that Elvis & Diana had been in the store a few months earlier, where Elvis purchased the very same book for Diana so that she could learn how to play his songs on the piano!

It seems kind of strange that Elvis would purchase a book of his own songs

It wasn't a "How To Play The Piano" book though. It was simply the sheet music for his songs.
