Thanks to MOOT I now have the French edition on Elvis's book. Until I get around to becoming multilingual I can only compare aspects like the way photos are used. Chalkie Davies' photo of Elvis sleeping on a flight in 1978 is less cropped in the non English editions. And so on. It helps to pass the time in the cold evenings.
Chalkie Davies messages me via f/book in 2013 regarding the Mystery Dance documentary -
If you get to watch it again, look carefully for a photo of a sleeping EC on a plane in '78. It's his favourite photo and we have waited 35 years for the right context in which to use it.
