The owner of this lovely Sicilian wine shop/delicatessen was a little perplexed when I broke off from buying yummy goodies to take a photo of this shelf. I don't think her English was quite good enough to reveal the reason to her.

To paraphrase Tom Waits "I'll have Man Poo for my friends and Sham Poo for my enemies".

Well, this is more like "things I think are wicked cool". This guy probably does the most complex origami in the world; some of the purely geometric forms he does are first generated using algorithms he develops and then translates into folding diagrams. Some of those must be printed using computers because if they are not incredibly precise they won't work. How he folds them accurately is another matter altogether...
For lots more, check this:

My son and I spent almost an hour exploring this stuff.

And did you follow a few 'crease patterns'? That creased me up! Amazing site, I feel an hour of exploration with some of the junior Westinghouse brood coming on.

What would you do - laugh or cry?
My kids have got up to some mischief (in fact they sprayed Windex into our TV and fried it), but the paint is not one I've seen - yet.

Oh my God! I remember the age when my kids did that kind of stuff. You guys have a real mess. Did you get it cleaned up okay, or is it yet to be determined?

Not my kids, fortunately, but I am sure I would blow my stack if it were to happen. I'm just about at the end of my rope with my son as it is.

Got this in Liverpool last week. Those who have seen it say it's genius. I have to agree.
