For me, Armed Forces is more of an interesting listen. This Year's Model is great, and is a lot of fun, but I think Armed Forces has much more interesting songs on it.

This one...this one got my mind a working. So I did the adult thing to do. Eeinie meenie meinie mo. It so happened to end on Armed Forces.

That's the way you gotta throw it down.
It nearly took a mircacle to get you to stay
It only took my little finger to blow you away.

I prefer Armed Forces too. I think it is better in terms of sonic inventiveness and also writing.

I just voted for AF, which put it 10-9 ahead. This was the toughest decision yet, but AF was the first EC I got on release, and has always been a favourite.

Here are the track by track matches (extended versions)

Accidents v No Action is a tie, two of the best opening tracks ever ever ever
Senior Service loses to This Years Girl
Olivers Army beats the The Beat
Big Boys beats Pump It Up
Green Shirt Loses to Little Triggers
Party Girl beats You Belong To Me
Goon Squad beats Hand In Hand
Busy Bodies loses to Chelsea
Sundays's Best beats Lip Service
Moods For Moderns beats to Living In Paradise
Chemistry Class loses to Lipstick Vogue
Two Little Hitlers beats Night Rally
(wsf'b)P, L &U loses to Radio Radio

Final Score: Armed Forces 7.5 v 5.5 This Year's Model

If the bonus discs were included AF would walk away with it.

I have some sympathies with the pro-'Armed Forces' side -- but as long-time Bobster readers knew, TYM is the album that -- bought almost at random -- changed my musical life forever....

Any other day I'd go for AF just because the bonus disc is so much better, but when all is said and done TYM has always been one of my top two faves.

Close the poll! Close the poll now! TYM is winning... even if the bonus disc is rubbish!

Armed Forces for me. :)

I can't say exactly why, it's just something special I feel when I listen to it. It's not KOA, but it's close.
