Jr. x 2

Post by scielle »

I just knew it! There's no way she would be that big at 6 months with just one bun in the oven.

http://people.aol.com/people/article/0, ... 38,00.html

Singers Diana Krall and Elvis Costello are not only getting ready for baby – they're expecting a duet, Krall tells PEOPLE.

"Today I'm at six months," Krall, who is promoting her new album, From This Moment On, said Wednesday. "And you know, I'm having twins! I'm not kidding!"

Krall, 41, and Costello, 51, know the sex of their twins – due in December, around the couple's third anniversary – but they aren't telling.

"We know, and everyone's been asking me, but we're keeping that private because we just want to have something for ourselves," Krall said.

Krall said she's genetically disposed to a double delivery: "I have twins on my mother's side as well."

And she's already gotten advice on preventing a future sibling identity crisis – she won't be dressing up the kids in matching outfits.

"Nah," she said with a laugh, "I won't be doing that."

OMG! I'm speechless!

Elvis with twins.

If they're boys they should have some of those cowboy shirts and little tiny silver boots.

As long as they don't share the same fate as Ricky Nelson's twin sons:

Sorry to be so specific, but are they going to be one-egg or two-egg twins ? (mine are two-egg)

Actually three-egg, with a side of home fries.

Sorry, I don't know and I doubt Mrs. Krall-Costello has divulged that level of detail.

When will Elvis do Sesame Street?

Today's episode is brought you to you by the letters E and C and the number 2.

At least the little ones get to share the burden of all those musical genius expectations.

Looks like PoP had the OBGYN beat by a few weeks -

BTW, Diana did Sesame Street several years ago. She sang Everybody's Song w/ Elmo, Grover and some green cows.

Will the twins have science fiction quadruplets, I wonder.

Don't those people look like Elvis, with Diana's hair? At first I thought it was a mock-up of what a child between EC and Diana Krall would look like. Ah well, it is late...

From Conan O'Brien's "If They Mated" segment a few years ago:

The twins will presumably look like this:

Ouch - twins. I wonder which one will be the evil one?

I would be hiring a staff for that mother load!

EC may finally achieve the recognition he deserves in his lifetime, by multiplying. His offsprings may perform his songs for generations to come with ever increasing ability to handle vocal harmonies. Eventually they'll be able to perform his classical works as a whole orchestra.

I wonder if he'll be present at the birth. I can't see him pulling off his cowboy shirt or silver boots to go into the birthing room. :)
