It has occurred to me that some of the content on this board deserves to be captured in a way that makes it available more easily long term. For example, the liner notes for various releases were posted a while back. THe board itself is great for discussions and shorter term information but we needed an alternative. Now we have it!!

A Wiki is a web site editable by anyone who is willing to establish an account. So if you decide to add liner notes or a biography or anything other EC related tidbit that is of longer term interest, then you can edit the Wiki pages yourself.
Start by adding yourself an account and then start adding information. You can upload tables, images, etc. Each user who has an account has the ability to add their own personal Wiki page about themselves.
There are a lot of Wikis on the web. The largest of them is http://www.wikipedia.org and we are using the same Wiki software they are.
Standard board rules on copyright and acceptable content apply.
Just like the board itself, there is a way to get RSS feeds to see what changed in the EC Wiki. But right now, nothing is changing because no one is using it. So dive in.
As usual, I am happy to help people learn this cool technology.

I started a shell of a Wiki when I posted the message you replied to. Since then no one really contributed to it and when it came time to finally move to a new server for the site, I didn't move the wiki.
On a positive note, JohnE's site http://www.elviscostello.info/ has all the information one could possibly want in a wiki and he has converted that site to wiki. So the community now has a wiki -- it just isn't here.
