Tell us about your band, The Surfers.
We used to sit around the house, learn how to play guitar and write songs. So, a few of us got together and did an album. We got to golf with T-Bone Burnett and Elvis Costello because of it. That was pretty cool. We didn't ever really get on the same page but we had a great farewell tour in Japan.

Yeah, I was a bit taken aback when I first heard he played golf.
