Yeah, the kids seem to dig that one. "Little Bear" is the shit though. Put that show on and they get sucked right in. It has a soothing effect on the little fella and is a nice departure from so much of the manic, hyperactive children's programming that's out there.

Did they see you?

I had a meeting at 10.30 this morning and the owner of the Company took me to the local pub for bacon rolls and coffee. 8) .

In the past I have driven 50 miles to a meeting near London, stayed in the Company's premises for a couple of hours and have not even been offered tea, coffee or a glass of water. How rude can you get!

Yet once in the North of England I went to a meeting and the Company tried to insist they give me a sandwich to take with me when I left "just in case you get hungry".

Sam, I find it disturbing that you had that image so handy. :D

As for stitches, it bled like a sonofabitch but I applied beaucoup pressure, put a tight bandage on it, and it seems okay. However it makes typing very slow and mousing well nigh impossible. But I'll survive, I suppose!

Well, some badass weather is headed this way. Just hit Nashville and although it looks like a banner day outside, we have a very "unstable atmosphere." Huntsville always ducks for cover when we hear that after being slammed by a killer tordado in 1989.

So, here I am in the house with five kids and a husband waiting on a potential tornado. Anybody gotta better Friday going on than that?

ooh Spooky, I don't think I can top that. I'm terrified of Tornadoes, and we don't even get 'em here. I hope the bad weather passes you by!

Although my day hasn't been the best. I had an exam (went OK)...but then I had to shell out $1200 to a guy to cover damages from a small car accident I was in last week (not exactly in my student budget, but I didn't want to go through insurance) and then my boyfriend gets a $200 speeding ticket today on top of that. Oy!

Almond tequila (in an impressively unlabelled bottle brought by hand from Mexico) is a lovely thing, but two big ones on top of 4 x Guinness is, well, painful...

Today I took a four-hour hike at the end of the world and did not fall on my butt even once, despite several close calls.

When used separately, women and alcohol can be a lot of fun. But if you mix them, they can turn you into a dumbass.
