There is Dylan Pool. There should be a Costello Pool.
What will he play starting in Oakland with Allen Toussaint??

a wild guess - will probably be a short concert:

Tears, Tears and More Tears (Toussaint)
The Sharpest Thorn (CostelloToussaint)
Southern NIghts (Toussaint)
Soul Sister (Toussaint)
International Echo (CostelloToussaint)
Who’s Gonna Help Brother Get Further? (Toussaint)
Yes We Can Can
Favourite Hour (CostellO)
Freedom For The Stallion (Toussaint)
Broken Promise Land (CostelloToussaint)
Mystery Train
Ascension Day (BirdCostelloToussaint)
All These Things (Toussaint)
Pads Paws Claws (Costello McCartney)
Unwanted Number (Costello)
Wonder Woman (Toussaint)
Watching the Detectives (Yawn)
Iko Iko
Love Hurts (Mystery guest)
Six-Fingered Man (CostelloToussaint)

What about Deep Dark Truthful Mirror, the track that AT plays on from Spike? That would be tremendous. Perhaps he and Steve could have a piano face-off.

My guess is the shows will be structured like the ones with Emmylou last year. Elvis and the Imposters will open the show by doing several songs on their own, then bring out the horn section for a few more, and then finally bring out Allen for most or all of the songs from The River In Reverse, "Deep Dark Truthful Mirror," and a few Toussaint songs which he'll sing himself.

I would agree with ANCT about the format of the shows. I reckon the first song will be I Hope You're Happy Now ( ) and the closer will be I Want You or The Scarlet Tide (  ). There will be a selection of songs from Elvis' repertoire and a set format in between for River In Reverse songs.

Now watch EC completely screw up my guess!

This might be the first tour in a long time in which "Walking on Thin Ice" is a contender...

First tour ever I should think! Has it ever been played live?
