Um, I just signed up, but with my special spam address, where no spam actually goes. It likes my real account. I can't believe spam is smarter than I am.

a streat team is basically a cheap way for artists to spread the news about a new album/tour/whatever. usually, whoever signs up gets free info and stickers and stuff with the understanding that they're going to put the stickers or posters up where they'd be noticed. this here EC thing looks like it's not really a street team at all, more of a 'WE WILL SEND YOU SPECIAL OFFERS FROM OUR AFFILIATES' kind of thing. a sucker team.
if we can rock together, why can't we walk together?

actually this Elvis Costello team is not a "'WE WILL SEND YOU SPECIAL OFFERS FROM OUR AFFILIATES' kind of thing" if you sign up you only get ELVIS COSTELLO news about the new album...i promise its not spam...

just if you want to get all the news/updates on the new album first then you should sign up

J.F., of course you are VERY special. But I got it too. And signed up for it, so we shall see. I get so much spam as it is, I don't care if a little of it is Elvis-related.

I too am one of the special people.

However, I will not be accepting my first assignment, as I prefer to keep the few friends I have. (I already bore them enough about EC and, these days, my new found obsession with "Buffy"....)
