Happy 65th birthday!!

Post by sweetest punch »

August 25 is EC’s birthday: https://www.krone.at/1980323
Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.

Our man currently at Anfield.

Elvis is in the building
Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

Elvis Costello is near the Anfield technical area posing for selfies with Liverpool fans. Obviously didn't want to go to Chelsea. *One for the older generation.

What a terrible way to spend your birthday weekend! Elvis' main flaw. We won't mention any more about football will we Colin?

Have a great day, Elvis.
I’m glad my boys decided NOT to spoil your day by scoring 4 in the last ten minutes :(

Looks like the weekend got off to a great start.

Sorry that I didn’t get to your birthday bash but my invitation must have got lost in the post and I’m not sure if you’ve got my current email address.

Enjoy your day.

I was at Anfield yesterday and they announced Elvis was Guest of Honour at half time and played PLU.

Shame they didn't get the squad to sign his shirt.

Also a shame we couldn't have put up a better performance (from a gooner).
Can't you see I'm trying to change this water to wine

I wonder how many of the players would know who he is.

Shame they didn’t play Turning The Town Red.

Out of the changing room stepped Oxlade-Chamberlain with a Scouser's stare
Outside the Kop all cheered wildly, a photograph was taken,
As Alex wondered why he was there...
