Not even close to capacity. This is an awful venue. More like a high school auditorium with folding chairs. And the casino itself is a smokey hell hole. But they do get some good artists to play there. And I believe if they play there they can't play anywhere else within a certain radius for a while. Which includes Dallas. So we make the hour long trek north.

8:00pm precisely Elvis and the Imposters hit the stage.

Pump it up
Waiting For The End Of The World
Beyond Belief
Green Shirt
Photographs Can Lie
Burnt Sugar Is So Bitter
Human Hands
High Fidelity
Stranger in the House
Alison
Unwanted Number
Radio Radio
24 Hours From Tulsa
Every Day I Write The Book (With band introductions)
Watching The Detectives
Dishonor The Stars
(I Don't Want To Go To) Chelsea
(Whats's So Funny 'bout) Peace Love And Understanding

I know this setlist is incomplete and out of order but thats where I am right now. There was another song with a refrain about Sugar that he wanted the audience to sing. But I don't know the song.

The band were on fire. Elvis may have had some issues hearing his own voice. But the mix had very clear vocals and he seemed to hit some impressive notes in part then was a little flat in others.
My first experience of the two backing singers and they were a wonderful addition. Added movement and enthusiasm. And two voices that complemented Elvis perfectly.

A 90 minute set almost to the minute. About the same length as The Roots who played there a month ago (and were also great). It crossed my mind that the casino may limit show running times so the crowd can get back to the serious business of gambling.

Elvis's voice was pretty rough, sadly but the band (including his guitar playing) was wonderful. Pete still beats the hell out of his kit

Audience was not too enthusiastic, except on peace love & understanding... Probably reason for no encore, along with Elvis being in tlrough voice

I agree with Richard on the venue....just a large ballroom with rows of chairs. It seemed like half the casino guests were smokers.
At 1 1/2 hrs and only 1 encore, it's probably the shortest EC shows I've seen. Looked like Winstar only sold about 50-60% of the seats. I looked on their web site the day before & they were offering "buy 1, get 1 free" on tickets. I'm guessing that's why Elvis shortened the show.

Loved the backup singers. Favorite songs of the night were Beyond Belief, Green Shirt, and Human Hands.

Many casinos force artists to play a shorter show - usually 90 minutes. They want customers gambling not listing to music. The concerts are a draw to get people to the tables. And they pay the musical acts more than a regular promotervenue.

This venue has 3500 seats. 50 - 60% sold, means about 1800 tickets sold.
Since you put me down, it seems i've been very gloomy. You may laugh but pretty girls look right through me.
