Many years ago, the presenter Kirsty Young worked for Scottish Television and hosted an evening magazine show. They had Elvis in the studio one night and, when he sang "Alison" with his acoustic guitar, I can recall Kirsty closing her eyes in rapture.

EC had the same effect on Jonathan Ross a few years ago, when he was playing Alison on Elvis Presley's guitar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C71zO9oOfuA ( section starts from about 6mins in) JR is fighting back the tears!GCM wrote:Many years ago, the presenter Kirsty Young worked for Scottish Television and hosted an evening magazine show.
