Nice purchase, Eugene! This show is being heavily promoted on radio - commercial and public. It's all over the airwaves. I guess it's the hot summer show. Sweet.

Provide your claim number (PIN #)...which you'll find in the settlement email underneath your email addresss.

Next page is "Events Available for Voucher Redemption" and it tells you how many vouchers you have.

In the settlement email....FREE TICKET VOUCHER CODES...enter these codes on the page after "find tickets".

they are being REAL HUMPS!!! implying there are NOT three lawn seats available. i wonder when the last time they sold out the infinite lawn. :? :? so, i try TWO instead..NOT AVAILABLE, then try for one: SAME bullcrap message! what did they do allot only 50 seats per show to be available via voucher redemption? bastards. i will try to call tomorrow which should be another half hour process. i'm sick of trying for over an hour already now! thanks again Eugene...i got much further along with your tips at least. best, ba

Would I need to cross that confounded bridge ( Benjamin Franklin) to get to Camden, Eugene?

Yes, that is the advisable route, unless you want to traverse the wilds of NJ during the late afternoon on a weekday.

T.K. Sawyer reviews My Aim Is True.

I should add, by the way, that his voice — which has been compared most often to Bruce Springsteen's — is a wholly delightful rock and roll instrument, combining a touch of Springsteen with the croak of Steely Dan's Donald Fagen and emerging as Elvis Costello.

When EC makes his way through Dallas in any form, I must go.
Ticket prices are insane. Paid way too much for 4 person box seats...

Holy S TX_Fan! You broke the bank my brother! I got my tix for Dallas too, section 100. I'll meet you inside or we'll tailgate with some cold beverages.
I'm damn sure it'll be hot!

you know, it seems the stars are aligning that i will NOT get there this tour. a little blue about it, but lots of little woes and bad scheduling is making it difficult to get there, impossible for August 1. unless August 3 is impeccable weather and i want to go for the big $25 lawn seat. this year is very much reminding me of 2008 when ill health kept me from The Police tour despite having tickets for PNC. i cant get overly distraught with this or similar as the recurring setlist:

01. The River In Reverse
02. Watching The Detectives
03. Accidents Will Happen
04. (I Don't Want To Go To) Chelsea
05. Either Side Of The Same Town
06. Bedlam
07. Jimmie Standing In The Rain - including Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?
08. Alison
09. Clubland
10. Everyday I Write The Book
11. Pump It Up
12. (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding?

maybe he'll add an IMPOSTERS show in NYC area after this Dan outing which would be much more appreciated by me and many other EC fanatics. it has been nearly FOUR years since a headlining NYC Imposters show for New York City.

let us hope....

Het BA, I hope something decent comes your way for the summer. Like you, a similarity in set lists I'd a bit of a disheartener especially when I've heard such rarities as I'm Your Toy and Home Truth on this Detour over here. However, I do have some tickets and things for you so send me your address and I'll try and give you some cheer !! I know there's a limited period of time on this (non) support slot but the occasional rare outing of a classic wouldn't go amiss would it ?

Well, well...dig this Sulky. Looks like I have acquired two VIP seats for free this Saturday 8/1 after all. The last time I got the offer for freebies was 5/16/2007 when brotherapostle and I were heading north for Ryan Adams and the Cardinals in Kingston NY. That, we had to decline. Lord knows the last time I got an Elvis free show, but it appears I will be there Saturday after all.

Interesting comment from Elvis in 1998.

http://www.elviscostello.info/wiki/inde ... er_9,_1998

Kentucky New Era, December 9, 1998

David Bauder profiles Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach.

(extract)

The discipline helped Costello, whose songs can be wordy and dense. Costello also helped Bacharach, partly weaning him from synthesizers to more organic instruments, like the bass flute that opens "In the Darkest Place." Costello said his aversion to electronics comes from his "Steely Dan phobia."
